Chinese New Year is coming.
& JAE results too.
I've went to Lasalle and NAFA last week to see their Music courses.
NAFA has a hardcore classical ensemble, but it aint what im looking for in music.
Cuz the grads mostly become music teachers in secondary schs, and such.
And the modules, well....they're kinda wierd.
No probs on learning History, Chinese, and Econs,
But why do students nid sing in a choir?
But still, what discouraged me is the entry requirements.
ABRSM's Grade 8 classical practical, grade 5 classical theory.
1 month to learn grade 8 worth of classical music?
Nope, not gonna happen.

Lasalle was much better tho.
Jazz, Pop & Classical Music Performance, & Music Tech course.
De school is cool.
School design is artistic.
Environment doesn feel like, er, school.
& I heard the students play. Professionals.

I applied for Jazz performance.
Juz went to de sch to give particulars today.
Gonna hav audition on the 6th of March.
2 songs with improvised jazz & blues solo.
May be challenging, but its nth compared to what i nid to show them.
2 written asignments to hand in.
1 composition on writing about a Music concert or performance i've seen recently, giving my opinions on whether its was a success and why so.
The other composition is fucked up tho.
The title goes: "Are waffles really better than Pancakes?" (200-250word)

Never thought i'd be doin English Paper 1 again (-_-")
Such a wierd 1 too.
But yea, that's an Art's school for you.
