Im getting lousy internet these days.
Frm Msn, Facebook, Blogger, KFC, bla bla.
I realized i din post abt my concert experiences, so here goes.

If my memory serves me correctly, i went for a local gig during December.
Had arnd 25 bands, started off from 1pm all de way to 11pm.
I watched thru de 10hrs of performances
Nt becuz its good, but cuz i wanted to see their standards.
Few things i noticed.

Out the all the bands:
Half of them were good, half of them were bad.
abt 20 of them did metal, death metal, skull metal, blabla.
The rest either played indie, funk or rock and roll.
Abt 15 of the bands were Malays, the rest i could differentiate.
Young bands were normally thrashy. Old bands were solid. Pure solid.
A few of them had singers who juz screamed till their performance time ended.
& 1 of them had a very irritating singer who swears at the audience.
No joke, the boy scolds FUck U at the audience.
Sure, he can show off all he wants to the all-girl supporters down stage.
But cursing and swearing? A big no-no boy.
U caused the whole bunch of malay guys to revolts and 'Mosh'(more like fight) wif the crowd.
Placed the girls in danger, evidently.
U lost big points from those ladies, boy. They were hot, too.

Eh, where was i?
Forget it. Tt gig sucked.
Made me wary of Singapore's potential in Music.
Cuz most of the bands onli do 1 single genre.
Bad for commercial music. & bad for survivability in Singapore's Music Scene.
But the biggest lesson i learnt: Mind my manners onstage

31st of December 2009 - WonFu Concert
Went to the recital hall @ Esplanade to watch WonFu live.
Taiwan band, presenting music tts not so Taiwan-ish.
Face it, u onli hear the word POP in taiwan nowadays. Never any other genre.
So hearing indie/retro/sweet jazz in chinese songstyle was sth new for me.
Good band, Good Vocals, Great knowledge of Music, Great band spirit.
I can see the band as one, instead of viewing them as individuals playin their own stuff.
Tts wat doing music is about anyway.
Taught me good lesson abt the band as a whole.
Gonna go and work on it myself.

Im blogging this out of boredom.
